Company Expands Footprint in Michigan and Wisconsin
DETROIT, MI — Jax Kar Wash (“Jax”) is kicking off 2025 with rapid expansion, adding nine new locations in the first quarter alone and bringing its total reach to 50 locations across Michigan and Wisconsin. With a mix of strategic acquisitions and brand-new facilities, Jax is redefining convenience and quality in the car wash industry.
Jax continues to invest significantly in new locations in MI and WI. In 2025, Jax has opened brand-new locations in Madison Heights, Romeo Plank, and Northville, MI and in Franklin and Menomonee Falls, WI. In WI, Jax operates under the Jilly’s Car Wash Brand. This expansion reflects the Company’s ongoing commitment to making top-tier car care more accessible to customers across both states.
Jax has also been actively expanding through acquisition and over the past 12 months has closed on the two strategic acquisitions in MI. In October, Jax closed on the purchase of six operating Clean View locations and several additional sites for future greenfield builds. In March of 2025, the company closed on the acquisition of Lighthouse Car Wash in Ann Arbor, MI which, combined with significant investments in our existing Ann Arbor location, will provide Jax a very strong presence in the area.
Jax continues to raise the bar for car care across Michigan and Wisconsin, reinforcing its position as the most dominant car wash brand in its core regions. With strategic growth in high-traffic areas, Jax’s expansion brings its customers meaningful upgraded amenities, including interior cleaning at eight locations and indoor self-vacuums at two locations, making it easier than ever for drivers to keep their vehicles spotless.
And the growth isn’t slowing down. The company plans to open more locations in 2025, with even more opportunities on the horizon. In addition to new openings, Jax is investing in major renovations at several existing locations to elevate the customer experience and uphold its high service standards.
